Project Scope


  • Achieving Performance Excellence' (APEX) program is based on the Baldrige National Quality Program. It is comprised of processes and measures that are aligned with the mission and vision of the Laboratory, that are continuously reviewed and evaluated in light of our goals, and that are revised as necessary to achieve performance excellence.

  • First Laboratory mission and vision statement
  • First strategic planning process (including summit)
  • Customer satisfaction survey results (Jan 06)
  • First set of Laboratory performance measures

  • An effective Laboratory that achieves its programmatic, and customer and employee satisfaction goals
