PP17 Fire Fighter SCBA Evaluations -FY06

Objective

  • To provide support for the investigation of firefighter injuries or fatalities that involve the use of approved SCBA, providing pertinent findings to accident investigators, and to provide the same information as feedback to the approval program.

  • Respond to inquiries on SCBA approval, use, and maintenance

Outcomes

  • Provide data to DSR/DSHEFS in support of Fire Fighter Fatality Investigation and Prevention Program investigations
  • Provide data on submitted SCBA performance to manufacturers and firefighting end users
