TYPES OF HAZARD/ EXPOSURE ACUTE HAZARDS/ SYMPTOMS PREVENTION FIRST AID/
FIRE FIGHTING
FIRE Combustible. Gives off irritating or toxic fumes (or gases) in a fire.
NO open flames.
Powder, alcohol-resistant foam, water spray, carbon dioxide .
EXPLOSION Heating will cause rise in pressure with risk of bursting.

In case of fire: keep drums, etc., cool by spraying with water.
EXPOSURE See EFFECTS OF LONG-TERM OR REPEATED EXPOSURE.
PREVENT DISPERSION OF DUST! STRICT HYGIENE!

 •INHALATION Cough. Convulsions.
Avoid inhalation of dust. Local exhaust or breathing protection.
Fresh air, rest. Refer immediately for medical attention.
 •SKIN Redness.
Protective gloves.
Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap.
 •EYES Redness.
Safety goggles or eye protection in combination with breathing protection if powder.
Rinse with plenty of water (remove contact lenses if easily possible). Refer for medical attention.
 •INGESTION Convulsions.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work. Wash hands before eating.
Rinse mouth. Give one or two glasses of water to drink. Refer immediately for medical attention.
SPILLAGE DISPOSAL STORAGE PACKAGING & LABELLING
Personal protection: complete protective clothing including self-contained breathing apparatus. Sweep spilled substance into sealable containers; if appropriate, moisten first to prevent dusting. Carefully collect remainder, then remove to safe place
Separated from strong oxidants, food and feedstuffs .
Unbreakable packaging; put breakable packaging into closed unbreakable container. Do not transport with food and feedstuffs.
UN Hazard Class: 6.1
UN Packing Group: II
Signal: Danger
Skull-Health haz
Fatal if swallowed
Fatal if inhaled dust
Causes damage to lungs and central nervous system through prolonged or repeated exposure if inhaled
