TURNS DARK ON EXPOSURE TO LIGHT. PHYSICAL DANGERS: CHEMICAL DANGERS: The substance may spontaneously ignite on contact with air producing toxic fumes ( phosphorous oxides ). Reacts violently with oxidants, halogens and sulfur, causing fire and explosion hazard. Reacts with strong bases to produce toxic gas (phosphine).
