Local exhaust or breathing protection.
Fresh air, rest. Refer for medical attention.
 •SKIN
Protective gloves. Protective clothing.
Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap.
 •EYES
Safety goggles.
First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
 •INGESTION
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.

SPILLAGE DISPOSAL STORAGE PACKAGING & LABELLING
Sweep spilled substance into covered containers; if appropriate, moisten first to prevent dusting. Carefully collect remainder, then remove to safe place. Personal protection: P2 filter respirator for harmful particles.
Store in covered containers. Separated from strong oxidants.

TLV: As rosin core solder thermal decomposition products (colophony). Exposure by all routes should be carefully controlled to levels as low as possible. SEN; (ACGIH 2004).

The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation of fumes .

INHALATION RISK:
A harmful concentration of airborne particles can be reached quickly when dispersed, especially if powdered or as fumes.

Rosin is obtained from pine trees. Rosin is available as wood rosin, gum rosin or tall oil rosin. Anyone who has shown symptoms of asthma due to this substance should avoid all further contact with this substance.
