NIOSH B Reader Certification Program: Looking to the Future

NIOSH planned and held a scientific workshop-NIOSH B Reader Certification Program: Looking to the Future-March 5th, 2004, to discuss the important issues related to radiological surveillance for lung diseases. Background papers were commissioned from national experts on the topics of Quality Assurance, Computerized Tomography (CT) Scanning, and Digital Radiography. Recommendations from this workshop are not consensus statements, but individual opinions of some, not necessarily all, of the participants.
