Work, Smoking, and Health: A NIOSH Scientific Workshop

On June 15-16, 2000, 79 leaders from labor, industry, academia, government, and non-governmental agencies participated in a scientific workshop titled, "Work, Smoking and Health" in Washington, D.C. Speakers included individuals with national perspectives and extensive experience in public health, tobacco control, and occupational health. During the workshop, the various interrelationships among work, work exposures, tobacco use, and health were explored.
