After considering stakeholder comments on the June 2008 draft document, NIOSH developed a revised draft Current Intelligence Bulletin: Asbestos Fibers and Other Elongated Mineral Particles: State of the Science and Roadmap for Research.  The comments received on the revised draft CIB were considered by NIOSH in developing a new draft CIB which is being reviewed by the National Academies. Stakeholder comments are not being solicited on the January 2009 verison which is being reviewed by the National Academies.
