Why blog-comments and not a discussion forum?
The NIOSH Science Blog facilitates directed discussion on a specific topic. All "on topic" comments that follow the criteria outlined in the comment policy will be posted.

You can receive e-mail notification when a new topic is posted on the blog by subscribing to the e-mail update, also located in the right navigation bar under "E-Mail Options." We will also provide information on the blog topics in NIOSH e-News, an electronic newsletter, which is distributed monthly.

Anonymous comments are allowed on the blog. NIOSH employees and contractors are encouraged to participate. The blog is moderated by the NIOSH Office of Health Communication.

I think that the NIOSH science blog is an excellent idea for keeping up to date occupational health professionals and facilitating knowledge exchange between them. I would like to know if it is possible to propose topics on this blog or the only opportunity to participate is by writing comments on the topics already published by the NIOSH's scientists. How can I do so if possible?
