  About this Document: The purpose of these internal procedures is to provide general guidance for DCAS staff and its technical support contractors concerning procedures to evaluate SEC petitions. These internal procedures supplement the procedures described under 42 CFR Part 83, related procedures and guidelines for dose reconstruction described under 42 CFR Part 82, and related dose reconstruction implementation guidelines. These recommended internal procedures do not create any substantive rights on the behalf of petitioners.
