- Send
monthly injury prevention technical assistance packets to all
94 local health departments and 7 regional officers of public
health within Illinois.
- Respond
to inquiries about injury prevention and injury prevention materials
from the general public, schools, hospitals, and other government
agencies.
Injury
activities initiated within the state:
- Developed
the first draft of a Drowsy Driving Curriculum for drivers
education courses.
- Designed
displays on violence, holiday injuries, and general injury to
present at conferences and special events.
