Summary
To contain the spread of a contagious illness, public health authorities
rely on many strategies. This broadcast will provide information
to state and local health department personnel and other stakeholders
on two strategies, isolation and quarantine, that are used to control
Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS).
CDC
recommends visiting technical
