NNIS Pneumonia Pilot Study

A pilot study to evaluate the draft NNIS Pneumonia Definitions was conducted from April through September 2001. Because of OMB regulations, only nine hospitals were included as pilot sites.

* - The Adult Flow Diagram needs to be printed on legal-size paper. When printing the diagram in Adobe Acrobat, select "Print" from the pull-down menu and then click on "Properties." Under the "Paper" tab, change the paper selection to "Legal." After clicking "OK," the diagram should either automatically print on legal-size paper or your printer will ask you to manually feed legal-size paper into the printer.
