Figure 4. Phylogenetic relationships between Brazilian and previously characterized hantaviruses. Abbreviations and GenBank accession numbers of the previously published sequences of the hantaviruses used in this study are listed in the legend of Figure 2. Maximum parsimony analysis of the nucleotide sequence of the 1,239-nt fragment of the M segment with the heuristic search option. Bootstrap values of >50%, obtained from 500 replicates of the analysis are shown.
