How to Obtain Publications

Resource constraints have required that NCHS limit the free distribution of cd-roms and printed publications. Single copies are available at no cost as long as the supplies last.

Most of our  printed publications published since late 1994 are available on the web in electronic format using Adobe Acrobat .PDF (TM) file format. We have furnished a free viewer for them and they can be viewed and downloaded directly from the Products page of this website

Paper copies of Vital and Health Statistics series reports, Vital Statistics of the United States, and other selected reports may be purchased from the GPO Bookstore and/or the National Technical Information Service.
