African Americans are least likely to be in ongoing care or to have their virus under control. Specifically, the chart shows that 81% of African Americans are diagnosed, 62% are linked to care, 34% are retained in care, 29% are prescribed ART, and 21% are virally suppressed; 80% of Latinos are diagnosed, 67% are linked to care, 37% are retained in care, 33% are prescribed ART, and 26% are virally suppressed; and 85% of whites are diagnosed, 71% are linked to care, 38% are retained in care, 35% are prescribed ART, and 30% are virally suppressed.

Younger Americans are least likely to be retained in care and be virally suppressed, and viral suppression improves with age, except in the cohort 65 or older.
