NCEH/ATSDR Summer Internship Opportunities

CDC’s National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH) and the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) offer four competitive funded summer internship programs in Atlanta, Georgia. These programs provide selected students a broad overview of environmental health at the federal level and foster interest in environmental health as a career, as well as training in communication, leadership, and inquiry and analysis.

• Biochemical Markers Fellowship (BMF), for current undergraduate and graduate students majoring in applied sciences (preference for chemistry and biology majors, although highly qualified candidates from other scientific disciplines will be considered). To be announced
• Collegiate Leaders in Environmental Health (CLEH), for current undergraduate students of any majors who complete coursework and/or show dedication to environmental and/or health issues via their extracurricular activities. Applications are not being solicited for the 2019 summer training program
• Summer Program in Environmental Health (SUPEH), for current students majoring in environmental health in a program accredited by the National Environmental Health Science and Protection Accreditation CouncilExternal. Applications are not being solicited for the 2019 summer training program.
• Graduate Environmental Health Internship Program (GEH) for current graduate and doctoral students with research or interests that support NCEH/ATSDR’s mission. Applications are not being solicited for the 2019 summer training program.
