    Ecuador In partnership with Corporación para el Desarrollo de la Producción y el Medio Ambiente Laboral.  Study of pesticide exposure through urine analyses in Ecuadorian rural children attending school near a flower plantation. DLS / OATB  
    Jamaica Under partnership with EPA and PAHO.  Development of Water Safety Plan in a Jamaican city. OGH  
    Mexico Collaborative project of Emory University, University of Texas-El Paso, Universidad Autonoma de Ciudad Juarez and the Ciudad Juarez Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social.  Binational pilot study examining the impact of traffic-related air pollution on asthmatic children.  DEHHE / HSB  
    Mexico Project led by University of Colorado with regional collaborators on both sides of the border.  Study on effect of waste tire removal on risk for dengue fever infection. DEHHE / HSB  
    Mexico Cooperative Agreement with the Association of Occupational and Environmental Clinics.  Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Unit. DTEM / EMESB  
    Multiple (Bolivia, Peru) In partnership with Sumaj Huasi, Bolivia with technical assistance from the Inter-American Development Bank.  A Water Plus program for Bolivia and Peru (possibly Chile and Ecuador as well). OGH  
    Multiple (El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua) Projects of American Red Cross.  Surveys, water sample analyses, and infrastructure evaluation to assess long-term sustainability of water, sanitation, and education programs. DEHHE / HSB  
    Nicaragua Assistance to Ministry of Health.  Investigation of possible paralytic shellfish poisoning outbreak in Nicaragua, including patient interviews and analysis or urine samples. DEHHE / HSB  
    Peru Assistance to Ministry of Health and PAHO.  Evaluation of urine cadmium levels in Peruvian mining community to determine if imminent public health threat exists. DEHHE / HSB
