Iowa Department of Public Health
  • Toolkit for practitioners to learn more about the application of the core functions, essential services, and core competencies to practice environmental health. The toolkit will include educational materials; real world application by model programs detailing practice in onsite waste water, food, nuisance, water quality, swimming pools, etc.; self-assessment tool; and case studies based on the Iowa Department of Public Health’s minigrant program to gauge potential environmental health applicant skills in the areas of the core competencies.
