Session E 12

Best Practices in Delivering Environmental Heath Services to Build Healthier Communities

Description of Session

This session will describe innovations used to address environmental health issues related to delivering basic environmental health services and building infrastructure and system capacity to support healthy communities. Although innovations were developed under a cooperative agreement with CDC, these models and toolkits can be implemented and sustained by other environmental health programs with little or no additional resources. This effort is supporting healthier communities though more efficient and effective environmental service delivery. In addition to describing the interventions, the presenting health departments and/or universities will provide information on how to obtain their products.
