Environmental Health Science Research: Current and Future Trends

Description of Session

Presenters will provide overviews of the Applied Environmental Health Extramural Research program in NCEH/ATSDR, the Superfund Basic Research Program in NIEHS, and Superfund research in EPA's Office of Research Development. Findings from select research efforts and, where possible, ways in which results can be translated into environmental public health practice will be described. In this tri-agency session, the panelists will provide multi-agency perspectives on cross-cutting research needs and future directions of Superfund-related environmental health research.
