Advocacy for State and Local Lead Poisoning Prevention Policies (Community Engagement and Partnerships)

Description of Session

In the past few years, significant changes in state and local lead poisoning prevention policy have been driven by advocates. Leaders in several of these successful efforts—in Illinois, Rhode Island, Guilford County (NC), Cleveland, and New York City—will describe their new laws, how they secured them, and what they are now doing to get these laws implemented successfully.
