- Building the Science of Environmental Public Health

GOALS

The goals of the conference are to prepare the public health workforce for the environmental public health challenges of the 21st century; to promote the need for an all-hazards approach to preparedness and response that encompasses terrorism, natural disasters, and other environmental challenges; and to promote the development of emerging environmental public health leaders.

OBJECTIVES

The objectives of the conference are to identify environmental public health challenges of the 21st century, to enhance the development of current and future generations of environmental public health leaders, and to promote the development and application of disease prevention and terrorism preparedness and response strategies.
