Introduction
The entire marketing strategy should answer the question: "How can we get the
target audience to adopt the desired behavior(s)?" You should be able to explain
your intervention design based on data about/from your target audience, theory,
and other research.
 Tip
Determining a marketing strategy should be a creative process. Some members
of your planning team may be uncomfortable with brainstorming and working with
free-flowing ideas. If so, try selecting a smaller group of individuals who are
comfortable with the creative (although still research-based) nature of this
process. They can work on some initial strategies and then take their ideas back
to the larger group.
