In the state of Arizona, there are about
904,036
adults 18 and over who experience disability, representing 23.3% of the
population. 21.3% or 430,678 are women, and 25.4% or 473,358 are men.

report disability; for those age 45-64, the rate increases to 29.6%, and those
65 and over, 34.9% report disability.

report excellent or very good health, while 34.3% of people with disabilities
report excellent or very good health. 27.3% of people without disability report
good health, compared to 31.4% of people with disabilities, and 9.5% of people

disability.

report smoking, compared 27.7% or people with disabilities. Obesity 17.2% of
people without disabilities report obesity, compared to 26.7% people with

physical inactivity compared to 18.3% or people with disabilities.

have gotten a flu immunization in the past year, compared to 31.7% or people
with disability. Pneumonia (ever). 22.7% of people without disability have ever
received a pneumonia shot, compared to 30.4% of people with disability.

77.1% of
those with disability. Among those aged 45 to 64, 85.9% of those without a
disability have health care coverage, compared to 87.7% of those with a
disability.

44, 61.9% of people without disability have a continuous health care provider,
compared to 73.1% for those with a disability. For those aged 45-64, 79.5% of
people without a disability report continuous health care provider, compared to
83.9% of those with a disability, and for those aged 65 and older, 89.3% of
people without a disability report continuous health care provider, compared to
90.9% of those with a disability.
