This visitor-led, interactive experience includes the following:

15-minute: Welcome and introduction by museum docent
45-minute: Visitor-led exploration of Cells: The Universe Inside, an interactive science exhibit
30-minute (Optional): Behind Closed Doors video or self-guided tour of The Story of CDC, a history exhibit

B. The Story of CDC (90 minutes)

This museum docent-led tour includes the following:

15-minute: Welcome and introduction by museum docent
45-minute: Docent-led tour of The Story of CDC, a history exhibit
30-minute (Optional): Behind Closed Doors video or visitor-led exploration of Cells: The Universe Inside, an interactive science exhibit

C. Self-Guided Museum Tour (90 minutes)

This self-guided tour includes the following:

Introduction to CDC and public health at the Global Symphony multimedia installation
Visitor-led tour of The Story of CDC, a history exhibit
Visitor-led exploration of Cells: The Universe Inside, an interactive science exhibit

We are aware of the unique circumstances surrounding home-schooled groups, but to preserve the integrity of our educational programs and due to space limitations, we ask that you limit the number of adult chaperones to 1 chaperone per 3-5 students. Please also use discretion when bringing younger siblings along. Space is limited in the David J. Sencer CDC Museum classroom, so strollers are not permitted. Chaperones and parents are considered in the total number count for the group.
