In the MMWR report, "Pseudomonas
aeruginosa Infections Associated with Transrectal Ultrasound-Guided
Prostate Biopsies --- Georgia, 2005," an error occurred. On page 777, in the second column, the last sentence of the first
full paragraph should read, "Because tap water is not sterile, it should never be used to rinse
critical medical equipment after reprocessing."
