Top Referrers (Inbound Links) to CDC.gov
2013 Annual Summary
Analysis: The Top Referrer report lists the top 25 domains of external Web sites which link to CDC.gov. This is also referred to as inbound links, permanent links, or hard coded links to any page on CDC.gov.
For 2013, the Google search engine (U.S.) remained the top referrer accounting for 52% of the traffic to CDC.gov based on the top 10 referring domains. The Typed/Bookmarked sites account for 27%. The Yahoo and Bing search engines account for 5%. Combined, the majority of traffic to CDC.gov in 2013 came from these four sites.
