Course Description: The webinar will provide participants with an overview of how the law can impact aspects of laboratory practice. Participants will learn about standards of care, liability issues, how to mitigate issues on the front end, and how litigation affects laboratorians.
Objectives: At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Define the standard of care and describe its relationship to liability.
- Describe liability mitigation strategies and how litigation can affect laboratorians.
