Eligibility Requirements

Lipid Standardization Program (LSP) services are provided to enrolled eligible laboratories. The LSP provides rigorously prepared human serum-based reference materials, conducts assessments and statistical evaluations of the test results for each participating laboratory, and provides technical assistance to improve analytical performance as needed.

Storage Requirements

Each laboratory must provide adequate frozen storage at or below -70°C. The participant must immediately transfer all LSP reference materials to a freezer for storage at -70°C upon receipt and maintain storage under these conditions throughout the testing period.
