Purpose

The following research objectives are the focus of this solicitation:

1. Dissemination Research - Conduct studies to build knowledge on methods, structures, and processes to implement existing evidence-based interventions to prevent either perpetration of or victimization from... violence and/or suicidal behavior.
2. Intervention Evaluation Research - Evaluate primary prevention interventions to prevent perpetration of ... violence and/or suicidal behavior.
3. Protective Factors Research - Identify protective factors across at least two levels of influence that reduce risk for the perpetration of... violence and/or suicidal behavior.
4. Influence of the Media and Parental Behavior on Violence Prevention
