Purpose
The purpose of the program is to develop and sustain injury surveillance programs with a focus on central nervous system injuries,particularly TBI. The goal of this program is to produce data of demonstrated quality that will (a) be useful to State injury prevention and control programs and (b) enable national estimates of TBI incidence and public health consequences.
