Under 5 years old and crude (all ages) incidence rates of infectious disease conditions in Bhutanese refugee camps in Nepal 2008–2011

For children under 5 years old there were approximately 0.5 suspected cases of malaria per 1000 population per month and approximately 0.1 confirmed cases of malaria per 1000 population per month. For all ages there were approximately 1.5 suspected cases of malaria per 1000 population per month and approximately 0.3 confirmed cases of malaria per 1000 population per month.

For children under 5 years old there were approximately 78 cases of skin disease per 1000 population per month. For all ages there were approximately 20 cases of skin disease per 1000 population per month.

For children under 5 years old there were approximately 350 lower respiratory tract infections per 1000 population per month. For all ages there were approximately 30 lower respiratory tract infections per 1000 population per month.

For children under 5 years old there were approximately 360 upper respiratory tract infections per 1000 population per month. For all ages there were approximately 80 upper respiratory tract infections per 1000 population per month.

For children under 5 years old there were approximately 52 cases of watery diarrhea per 1000 population per month. For all ages there were approximately 8 cases of watery diarrhea per 1000 population per month.

For children under 5 years old there were approximately 2 cases of intestinal parasites per 1000 population per month. For all ages there were approximately 0.6 cases of intestinal parasites per 1000 population per month.
