AAP

American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
The AAP is implementing a variety of activities aimed at improving HPV vaccination rates. Through this cooperative agreement, the AAP will work to improve pediatricians’ recommendations for the HPV vaccine while creating a sustainable infrastructure for quality improvement (QI) and fostering partnerships to facilitate future immunization work on topics of need.

APA

Academic Pediatric Association (APA)
The APA is implementing a combination of activities to strengthen HPV vaccination, working to implement quality improvement projects in residency training clinics, train future pediatricians, and collaborating with the National Improvement Partnership Network (NIPN) to improve vaccination rates in private offices.

NACCHO

National Association of County & City Health Officials (NACCHO) [4 pages]
NACCHO’s HPV project aims to support local health departments. NACCHO has funded two cohorts of local health departments, and created resources for health department utilization.

National AHEC Organization (NAO)
AHEC is implementing an extensive national HPV outreach effort along with a clinician education effort by working with an AHEC in every state.

National Cancer Institute-Designated Cancer Centers

The NCI supports HPV vaccine uptake in its cancer centers and encourages collaboration between cancer centers, partners, and immunization programs.

ACS

American Cancer Society (ACS)
ACS has several HPV initiatives. The HPV VACs project partners with FQHCs, state health departments and other state-based entities to increase HPV vaccination through improved clinician education and systems changes. The National HPV Vaccination Roundtable is a national coalition of organizations working together to prevent HPV-associated cancers and pre-cancers by increasing and sustaining U.S. HPV vaccination.

AACI supports HPV vaccine uptake and is dedicated to reducing the burden of cancer by enhancing the impact of academic cancer centers.
