The HIV/AIDS Surveillance Supplemental Report is published by the HIV Incidence and Case Surveillance Branch of the Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention–Surveillance and Epidemiology, National Center for HIV, STD, and TB Prevention, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Atlanta, Georgia. This report describes persons with diagnoses of HIV infection and AIDS, persons living with a diagnosis of HIV infection or AIDS, reported cases of HIV/AIDS and AIDS, and deaths among persons with AIDS, by race/ethnicity in the United States from 1998 to 2002.

All data are provisional.

The HIV/AIDS Surveillance Supplemental Report is not copyrighted and may be used and copied without permission. Citation of the source is, however, appreciated.
