Ongoing Research

The Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention (DHAP) conducts a comprehensive program of behavioral, clinical, epidemiological, laboratory, and prevention research. Through this ongoing research, DHAP monitors many facets of the trends in HIV in the United States. The data guide decisions that ensure HIV prevention funds are directed to those populations most affected by the disease.
