High School YRBS, 2009
The 2009 YRBSS included a national school-based survey conducted by CDC, 47 state surveys, four territory surveys, two tribal government surveys, and 23 local surveys conducted among students in grades 9–12 during October 2008–February 2010. High school YRBS results are available for the nation as a whole and for those states, districts, territories, and tribal governments that elected to conduct a high school YRBS in their jurisdiction and obtained weighted data.

Middle School YRBS, 2009
Middle school YRBS results are available for those states, districts, territories, and tribal governments that elected to conduct a middle school YRBS in their jurisdiction and obtained weighted data. In 2009, 14 states, 10 cities, 2 territories, and 2 tribal governments obtained weighted data for their middle school YRBS. There is no national middle school YRBS.
