ORIENTATION ACTIVITY PLAN

ACTIVITY OBJECTIVES: 
After this activity, participants will be able to
1. Identify the purpose of the SHI.
2. List examples of changes that schools have made as a result of implementing the SHI.
3. Explain the format of the SHI.
4. List the steps involved in implementing the SHI.

MATERIALS:
* Orientation PowerPoint notes pages
* Handouts of PowerPoint slides

PREPARATION:
* Make sure to use the PowerPoint file entitled Orientation for this part of the training.
* Print PowerPoint slides (either three or six to a page), and make copies for participants.
