School Health Education Resources (SHER)
CDC's School Health Education Resources (SHER) provides user-friendly access to the myriad school health education offerings available from CDC. Included with the SHER materials are the related National Health Education Standards and CDC's Characteristics of an Effective Health Education Curriculum.
SHER is designed to be used by pre-K–12 classroom teachers, health education teachers, and other staff in school districts such as curriculum directors or specialists, school health coordinators, or principals. Available resources include curricula, lessons, teacher instructional materials, student materials, and fact sheets. Resources are organized by topic, grade level, applicable National Health Education Standards, applicable Characteristics of Effective Health Education Curricula, and language.
