CGH Deputy Director for Management and Operations:
Jenny Parker

Jenny Parker is serving as the Acting Associate Director for Policy at the CDC Center for Global Health (CGH). Her permanent position is the Chief of the Country Operations Branch, Division of Global HIV/AIDS in the Center for Global Health.  In this role, Jenny provides leadership for 45 Atlanta-based staff providing operational support for the over 40 CDC field offices implementing the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief.   She has worked at CDC in a variety of programmatic and policy positions.  She came to CDC in 1993 as a Presidential Management Intern after receiving her Master’s in Public Administration.  Prior to her work at CDC, she spent 13 years as a caseworker at the Georgia Department of Family and Children Services working with foster children and investigating reports of child abuse and neglect.
