GDDER - Jennifer Buigut, MPH
Jennifer began her career at CDC in 2004 as a Presidential Management Fellow in the Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention, NCCDPHP, where she helped implement a national action plan to address cardiovascular disease. Jennifer then joined the Division of Issues Management and Executive Secretariat (DIMES), Office of the Chief of Staff, in 2006 and worked with all of the Centers, Institutes, and Offices throughout CDC to manage a variety of issues. While at DIMES, she participated in the IETA program (2007) and completed a short-term assignment in Nairobi, Kenya. Most recently, Jennifer served as the Issues Management team lead within the Office of Policy, Planning, and Evaluation at NCEH/ATSDR.
Jennifer has a BS in Community Health Education from Brigham Young University and a MPH in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
