Partnering to Fight HIV/AIDS

The CDC Global AIDS Program Sudan office opened in 2007. Since then, CDC has been supporting the Sudan by building capacity for HIV surveillance and strategic information. These and all CDC's global HIV/AIDS activities are a part of the unified US Government effort to turn the tide against the epidemic, the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, which was announced in 2003.
