Partnering to Fight HIV/AIDS

The CDC Global AIDS Program will begin initial support for capacity-building in Afghanistan in 2008. These and all CDC's global HIV/AIDS activities are a part of the unified US Government effort to turn the tide against the epidemic, the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, which was announced in 2003.
