The U.S. Surgeon General’s Certificate of Appreciation was awarded to Muin J Khoury, MD, PhD and Rodolfo Valdez, PhD, MSc for their outstanding scientific, public health, and administrative contributions to the new My Family Health Portrait tool.
- The National Academy of Sciences’ Committee on Science, Technology, the Law and Board on Life Sciences, and the Institute of Medicine will host the Direct-to-Consumer Genetic Testing: A Cross-Academies Workshop in Washington, D.C. on August 31-September 1, 2009. Read the agenda. Register online.
