Fungal Keratitis Statistics

The exact incidence in the general population is unknown, but fungal keratitis is thought to be more common in warmer climates.

Fungal keratitis is not a notifiable condition. However, healthcare providers who are concerned about an unusual number of new cases of fungal keratitis should contact their state or local health departments.
