Important Deadlines

Meeting registration
Registration is open to FoodNet sites, federal and international partners and invited guests. Registration must be completed by Monday, February 9th, 2009. Click here to register.

Hotel Reservations
• For Holiday Inn Decatur, registration deadline is February 2, 2009. Call 404-371-0204 to make your reservation.
• For Emory Inn, registration deadline is February 5, 2009. Call 800-933-6679 to make your room.
• For both hotels, you must mention that you are a guest of the FoodNet Vision Meeting to receive the government rate. Please reserve your room as quickly as possible because the rate is based on room availability. See next section for more information.

Transportation from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to Emory Inn/CDC

MARTA
From Airport MARTA station, take either Northbound train (North Springs or Doraville), exit at Lindbergh Center station. Take Route 6 or 245 bus to the “CDC Office Building” stop (ask the bus operator to announce the stop). MARTA requires a Breeze Ticket which can be purchased at Airport station. Make reservations here, selecting the "Clairmont and Druid Hills Hotels Round Trip" option ($45.00). Be sure to include the name of the hotel when booking. One-way trips are available for $25.00 (call for more information). Reservations are not required for trips starting at the airport. At the airport, follow signs torwards ground transportation. Look for their pink sign at stalls 14 and 15.

Information about the location of the FoodNet Coordinator and Vision Meeting dinner can be found below. There will be limited carpool availability to/from the restaurants. Sign-up sheets for the carpool and the restaurants will be available at the check-in counter at the Coordinator Meeting and Vision Meeting. Maps will also be distributed at the meetings.
