The Maryland Dental Society and the Maryland State Dental Association will work closely together to help advance the project throughout the state. The initiative is designed as an informational spreadsheet, complete with illustrations that offer ways to clean, decontaminate, disinfect and sanitize your toothbrush. The Project Clean Toothbrush: Important Tips to Help Prevent the Spread of Flu Germs cling-on flyers along with some of the items (antibacterial toothbrush cover, a new toothbrush, toothpaste from a pump dispenser, a hand sanitizer wipe, etc.) suggested in the material will be distributed hundreds of high school students at the Francis M. Wood Excel Academy. The electron file of both the English and Spanish versions of the flyers will be emailed to schools throughout the state all week. Principles and teachers will also be directed to The Maryland Children's Oral Health Institute website at www.mycohi.org. The Maryland Children's Oral Health Institute Contact: Dr. Winifred J. These measures include sufficient sleep, hand-washing, and vaccination. The National Head Start Association gave the fliers to several Head Start programs throughout Virginia and DC, who then sent them home with the children in their program.
