How to Participate

To be considered for participation, see the instructions, below:

• Submit the following information (as attachments) in one email to scienceambassador@cdc.gov
  • Curriculum vitae or résumé
  • A copy of your current teaching certificate
  • A sample of a lesson plan you have developed
  • A personal statement describing your interest, goals, and expectations of the program, and how you plan to apply skills and lessons learned from the workshop (limit 500 words)
• Request letters of recommendation (2)
  • Request the school principal and the science department chairperson to email a letter directly to scienceambassador@cdc.gov with the subject line "Science Ambassador Recommendation for [NAME]"

Deadline for submission is Friday, March 30, 2012.
