High school lesson plan topics - Surveillance

Surveillance: Collecting Data for Epidemiology
Students collect data about their class using active and passive surveillance. Students then analyze their data and compare the various results obtained by using the different surveillance methods.

Surveillance of Population Trends
Students will use passive and active methods of ascertainment to obtain information on population trends, specifically trends in infant death.
