Web Install is an installation feature to make it easier for users to install the latest version and/or upgrade of Epi Info™. To use Web Install, the user has to download and run a small setup program from the user's machine. This program will then complete the installation process by obtaining the rest of the files from the CDC server while the user is connected to the Internet. If the Internet connection is broken, the user can resume the install after reconnecting to the Internet and rerunning the setup file. Web Install will begin at the point where the connection was broken. However, unlike regular downloads, Web Install will not result in a copy of setup files after the installation on the user's machine. (return)
